Families of Faith
Families of Faith is a religious education program providing a quality Catholic message of Jesus Christ as savior. We, as the Catholic Church, teach and assist families to help children become followers of Christ. The program is open to all families.
Once a month sessions—you choose which session your family attends.
- Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 pm or Sunday 11:15am to 1:15pm (After Mass)
- In addition to attending a family session, a child-only catechesis is one Wednesday per month
Sessions include family fun and activities, snacks, and break-out sessions by age. Every Catholic member of the household - parents and children - should attend and participate in each monthly session. At least one adult family member must attend with child. The informational cookout and registration for the 2017-18 school year is Sunday, August 12 from 4-6pm at the Horseshoe Pavilion at Spitler Woods. The parish will provide the main dish and tableware. Please bring a potluck dish to share. You may bring sports equipment or park toys to use at the park. All families are invited. Please let us know if you are coming (217-429-5363 or email [email protected]) so that we have plenty to share. Bring a friend!
According to the Restored Order of the Sacraments, children receive the following sacraments during their corresponding grade level:
