  On the first Friday of each month after the 11:15am Mass at St. Patrick Church, we will have adoration until 4pm, followed by the stations of the cross and benediction. Come join us in prayer.

• Feast of St. James

  Saturday May 3, 2025 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

  Please join us after the 4:30pm Mass on Saturday, May 3 in the parish house basement for refreshments and fellowship to celebrate our parish feast day for St. James. There will be a presentation on St. James at this time. All are welcome.

• Dealing with Loss

  Those who have experienced the loss of a loved one often find healing and support through sharing with others who have similar experiences.   We will begin to watch the third season of The Chosen on Tuesday evenings (6pm) in the St. James Parish House Basement. The first night back is May 13. All are welcome to attend. Come and join us.

• Stained Glass Window Tour

  Sunday May 18, 2025 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM

  As part of its Historic Preservation event, History of the Heartland is once again sponsoring a self- directed tour of the stained-glass windows of a number of area churches. Our two beautiful churches will be on the tour. The tour is on Sunday, May 18 from 1:30-4pm. ‘Tour guides’ will give information on the history & content of the windows. The event is free of charge. St. John’s Episcopal Church is also on the tour. See local advertising for the other churches that will be included.

• Memorial Day Mass

  Monday May 26, 2025 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

  Mass on Monday, May 26 will be at Calvary Cemetery in Decatur at 10:30am. Parking will be south of the cemetery in the Millikin lot with a shuttle service to Calvary. You are welcome to bring a chair to use during Mass. In case of heavy rain, Mass will take place at St. Patrick Church.
