  • Marriage, Family, & Culture

    Monday Aug 7, 2023 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Located in St. James Parish House. Much of what we hear on relationships in the media and culture today seems to run counter to what the Church teaches. Is the Church out of date? Just a bunch of rules that don’t apply in today’s world? Or something else. Come experience what the Church says on marriage and family and related issues in its own beautiful words….those of the Catechism, Scripture, the documents of Vatican II, Pope Saint John Paul, Pope Benedict, and Pope Paul VI. Hear from Bishop Paprocki in a video message what the Church says about the transgender issue. Discuss the life issues that challenge our country today. Perhaps through our discussion, we can find ways to talk to those who have never heard or understood the wonder of God’s creation of man and woman and how all are called to live that out, and our call to protect human life in all its stages.

  • Saints, Old & New

    Monday Aug 21, 2023 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Join us at the St. James parish house. All are welcome! Parishioners and Fr. Chris will give us information about their favorite saint. We hope the lives and faith of the saints can provide inspiration for us and our families today - heroes for our time.
